More Information: April 30th Rally to Stop Genocide
As we reported last month, the Save Darfur Coalition is hosting a tour across cities all over the US, ending with a rally to end genocide on April 30th in Washington D.C. It has also been reported that a similar rally will take place in San Francisco for the west coast.

The Rally to Stop Genocide will feature leading voices in the effort to stop the genocide in Darfur, including a broad spectrum of prominent faith leaders, political figures, human rights activists, and celebrities. We have also invited survivors of the Holocaust and genocides in Cambodia, Kosovo, Srebrenica, Rwanda, South Sudan and Darfur.

If you're in either area, we strongly urge you to let your voice be heard. Also, let us know if you're planning on attending.

“When they [the Janjaweed] attacked the boarding house they pointed the guns at the girls and forced [all 110 of] them to strip naked, took their valuables and all of their bedding,” the schoolgirl told Cassese. “[My friend] was taken from the group, blindfolded, pushed down to the ground on her back and raped. The rape lasted for about one hour.

Please remember to Voice Yourself to your respective senators and representatives. Allowing apathy to infiltrate us is an invitation for indifference to continue allowing the media to downplay the horrors the Sudanese face every day.

You will also notice that all of our newsposts seem to have disappeared in the past week. We'll be putting them back as soon as possible.
